Staff were very friendly and professional and welcoming. Good communication prior to arrival. Breakfast staff very helpful and friendly. Room cleaned and everything replenished including bottled water and fresh towels etc. The building has lots of character although an old building, it has been well maintained. I was especially impressed with the high ceiling bedroom, the old antique style furniture and the breakfast room decor. The breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of choice including hot & cold food, cereal, fruit, breads and pastries and cakes, salad, juices, etc. The location was perfect to access the centre ( shops & restaurants & bars and for sightseeing ) , also walking distance for the Tourist Office and the San Rocco Square bus station ( useful for getting around Corfu). The airport is also very close ( approx 15 min away by taxi or by bus from San Rocco Square). The Mediterranean Sea is just a few yards from the front entrance just across the road, the view was amazing especially with sunshine greeting you as soon as you walked out of the hotel ( East facing ). A very comfortable stay. I had a room with a double bed and I slept very well. Overall I had a fantastic stay 😃

I arrived at the hotel around 8:30 pm from the airport. I took the bus #15, which has a stop at San Rocco Square. From there it is an easy walk to the hotel. Because it was in the evening, I was a bit lost since I didn't have any connection to Google Maps. But that was not a problem at all, just ask the people from the stores and they were very friendly giving me directions to get to Cavalieri. The staff at the hotel were very friendly as well and I would like to give a special note to Nicholas. If you need any tips on what to see or to get around the town, Nicholas is the man to ask. Thank you very much for your outstanding service! Everything was perfect: beautiful historic building, delicious breakfast, very clean, comfortable, good Internet connection and easy walk to go everywhere. I definitely reccomend this hotel while staying in Corfu.

At the begininng, I was quite reluctant to book this hotel becuase the rating online was low. However, after checking-in, I immediately like the hotel. We have a old-fashioned, high-ceiling room facing ocean. The bed is comfortable, and bathtub is big and clean. We were so worried about parking suitation because Corfu old town was full of tourists, but staff allowed us to park right in front of the hotel. Next to Spianada Park and Old Fortress, the hotel is centrally located, yet is tugged away in a residental corner. It is very quiet in the evening. With its red carpet and traditional style furniture, the hotel may not look modern in the picture, but it is actually well-maintained. For its value, I highly recommend this hotel.

Deserving of reputation as one of the best 30 Hotels to visit in the world. The rooftop restaurant, food, wine, cocktails, service take what is a great hotel and transform it into a World Class one. The rooms are comfy, the water in the fridge is a nice touch. Bathrooms are clean and plenty of products. People in charge of reception and check in/out in Lobby plus bar service were exemplary. We were treated with respect and kindness. Breakfasts were awesome and staff in the breakfast area were helpful and responded well to the people who kept coming for the variety of foods on offer.

Julian

This hotel was beautifully decorated in a classic English manner by the original owners, a brother and sister. They had style! Thus it is a little dated in terms of colours but as it is immaculately maintained and cleaned it is still in very good nick. The hotel has been made into a Foundation so the proceeds benefit various charities on Corfu. The staff were very helpful. There is a roof top terrace with great views.
